Army units celebrate 50th anniversary of the Correctionist Movement

Damascus (ST): Our armed forces marked the 50th anniversary of the glorious Correctionist Movement led by the founder and leader Hafez al-Assad.

A senior military delegation paid a visit to the tomb of the late president  Hafez al-Assad in Qirdaha, Lattakia governorate, laid a wreath on the tomb and recited  al-Fateha ( the opening chapter of the Holy Koran) .

 

The Naval forces held a central mass rally and various army units held celebrations on the great occasion. Speakers affirmed that the Correctionist Movement constituted a turning point in the history of Syria and the Arab nation, noting that its achievements covered all aspects of our life.

The speakers pledged to continue the process of achievements rallying behind the wise and courageous leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
