Army targets with intensive strikes dens of “Jabhat al-Nusra” terrorists in countryside of Idleb, Hama

Idleb, Hama – Syrian Arab Army has continued operations targeting positions of “Jabhat al-Nusra” terrorists and the groups affiliated to it in the countryside of Hama and Idleb in response to their frequent breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement.

In Idleb countryside,  SANA said that the army units carried out precision operations on the directions of al-Nusra terrorists’ movement  in al-Habbit to the northeast of Kafar Naboudeh, which was liberated by the army a few days ago, and Khan Sheikhoun which is located on Damascus-Aleppo international highway where large numbers of terrorists are positioned.

SANA mentioned that the operations resulted in killing and wounding many terrorists and destroying dens used to store weapons and attack the army points and safe villages.

In Hama northern countryside, SANA stressed that intensive strikes were carried out on the fortified positions of the terrorist groups in al-Latamina, Kafar Zeita, al-Arba’en and az-Zakat.

The strikes ended up with eliminating many terrorists and destroying their dens and sites.

SANA added that the Army units found tens of bodies for the killed terrorists, some of them of foreign nationalities.

On Monday,  units of the army foiled an attack by terrorist groups from “al-Ezza Brigades” and “Jabhat al-Nasra” on safe areas in northern Hama.
