Army Targets More Terrorist Positions in Several Provinces

PROVINCES- More terrorists are getting killed as the army units, backed by the Air Force, continue striking their positions in various areas, with their equipment and vehicles destroyed in the operations, according to SANA.

Homs

The army’s air force carried out sorties targeting gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of al-Shaer and Jazal oil fields in the eastern countryside of Homs province, a military source told SANA on Friday.

The strikes resulted in destroying vehicles equipped with heavy and medium machineguns, arms and equipment for ISIS terrorists.

 Deir Ezzor

The army’s air force targeted positions for ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of Panorama area and south of al-Mrei’iyeh in Deir Ezzor.

Centers and armored vehicles and others equipped with machine guns were destroyed in the airstrikes, which also killed scores of terrorists, a military source told SANA.

 Hama

An army unit targeted with artillery shells a vehicle transporting terrorists of the so-called Jaish al-Fateh in Khirbet al-Naqous, 90 km west of Hama city, destroying it along with the weapons it carried.

10 terrorists who were on board the vehicle were killed, according to the military source.

Another army unit, a field source said, targeted terrorists from the so-called Islamic Front in the vicinity of Aidoun village, west of Salamiyeh, leaving 6 terrorists injured and a vehicle damaged.

A number of terrorists’ dens were hit in Aqrab town in army operations conducted in cooperation with the popular defense groups.
