Army smashes terrorists groupings nationwide

PROVINCES, (ST)- Units of the armed forces on Sunday staged mop-up  operations nationwide  ,wiping out  terrorist groups, smashing  their gatherings ,dens and destroying their weapons .

In Damascus and its countryside, units of the armed forces launched large scale operations against terrorists in al-Qalamoun area,eastern Ghouta,Zabadani,Irbin,Harasta,Douma,Zamalka,Joubar and Mleiha.

In Idleb,terrorists received big blows at the hands of the armed forces in the villages  and towns of Bazdana and Sarmin ,Jidar Bkfaloun, Kafarlata, Bzabour, on Idelb-Harem road, Kafar Takharim, Kafar Najd, Nahleh and Maar Shamsheh,according to a military source.

In Aleppo,units of the armed forces faultlessly eradicated  a number of  armed terrorist groups, killing all of their members in the areas of al-Sheik Saeed, Khan Touman and al-Rashdin, the villages of Andan, Hadadin and Handarat in the countryside of Aleppo plus the surrounding of al-Kindi Hospital and Aleppo Central Prison and in Bani Zeid area ,al-Kastello, the towns of Assan, Banan and Blas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, the villages of Azzan, Tadef and Jebb Ghabsheh in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, while others were targeted in Deir Hafer, Hreitan and Qadi Askar.

Meanwhile, an army unit successfully managed to repel a terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate safe areas coming from al-Sayyed Ali area, while another unit clashed with terrorists who had been attacking and intimidating the residents of the neighborhoods of al-Aqabeh and Salah-Eddin in the city of Aleppo.

In Homs and its countryside, a military source told the official news agency  that army units killed countless number of terrorists  in the area surrounding the national hospital in al-Karabis neighborhood and to the west of Hama street in al-Qusour neighborhood in Homs city, Bait al-Agha village, al-Ghasbiyeh ,al-Dar al-Kabira, al-Dweir, Talas, in al-Hula and Khalij Kisin in al-Rastan and al-Qaban area in Talbiseh.
