Army Secures Return of 10 Syrian Families from al-Rukban Refugee Camp to Their Villages in Homs Countryside

HOMS, (ST)- Syrian Army units have secured the return of tens of displaced Syrian people staying in al-Rukban refugee camp to their villages in Homs eastern countryside.

SANA reporter in Homs said that 10 families consisting of 70 members returned today to their houses in al-Qaryaten in Homs eastern countryside from al-Rukban camp near the Syrian-Jordanian borders with the help  of and under the protection of units of the Syrian army. Most of the returnees were women and children.

Al-Rukban refugee camp, contains thousands of displaced Syrians who previously left their houses fleeing terrorism in their areas, before the Syrian army and its allies managed to uproot the terrorists and restore security to the villages of the Syrian Badia.

Many reports have shed light on the deteriorating humanitarian situation the displaced people are experiencing at al-Rukban camp because US-led coalition-backed terrorist  organizations control the surrounding of the camp and prevent the delivery of medicines, aid and food to the camp.

Last October, the Syrian army ensured the return of 25 people, previously kidnapped by Daesh terrorists in the Syrian Badia, to their houses in al-Qaryaten.
