Army secures exit of a number of families from Eastern Ghouta through Madyara

Damascus – Units of the Syrian Arab army on Monday managed to secure the exit of a number of families, who were detained by the terrorist organizations on Madyra direction in eastern Ghouta.

SANA said that the terrorist organizations prevented, for the 14th day in a row, the besieged civilians to exit from eastern Ghouta.

SANA added that the ambulances and the transportation buses have been waiting near the safe corridor which leads from Ghouta to al-Wafedeen Camp since the beginning of the daily truce which starts at 09:00a.m. to 02:00 p.m.

 

In the southwestern of Ghouta, SANA affirmed that, since last Thursday, no one left through the safe corridor set up by the Syrian Government, in cooperation with the popular bodies and the dignitaries of Ghouta from Jisreen towards al-Mliha.

Meanwhile, the army units operating on Madyra direction in the central sector of Ghouta secured the exit of a number of families and transported them towards the Vehicles Management in Harasta to transport them later to the temporary housing centers.

In parallel, the army continues military operations in eastern Ghouta to eradicate the terrorist organizations which hold civilians and attack with shells the city of Damascus and its surroundings.

On Sunday, the terrorist organizations targeted with 34 shells the city of Jaramana, the surrounding of al-Abbasiyyen, Arnous Square and the neighborhoods of Bab Touma, al-Qassaa, al-Bzouriyeh, al-Hamidiyeh, al-Shaghour, al-Qimariyeh, Barzeh, Ruken-Eddin and al-Jahez Park in Damascus city, leaving 4 martyrs and injuring 26 people.
