Army’s General Command: Army units foil an attack by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Aleppo countryside

Damascus  – Army units in Aleppo clashed with terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other Takfiri-linked organizations that attacked a number of military points and positions in Aleppo countryside.

“The army units defending those positions have foiled the attacks and inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorist organizations,” a statement by the army’s general command said on Monday, SANA reported.

 

It added that more than 400 terrorists, supported by armored vehicles, artillery and mortars, have participated in the attacks, aiming at breaking the army’s fortifications or cutting off Aleppo-Efrin road.
