Army’s Command Announces Launch of large-scale Operation gainst Terrorists Harboring in Adra Area

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Units of the armed forces have started a large-scale operation towards Adra area, around 35km to the north east of Damascus province, to flush out the terrorist groups there.

The General Command of the Army and Armed forces said in a statement issued today that the operation started today morning after surrounding the area and carrying out accurate reconnaissance and strikes.

It made it clear that the army units are targeting the places where terrorists are harboring and inflicting heavy losses upon them.

“The operation will continue until eliminating all the terrorists and restoring stability and security to the residential city of Adra,” the statement read.

It affirmed the determination of the Army’s General Command to amputate what it described the ‘sinful terrorist hand’ that targeted the safe innocent citizens in the city of Adra.

“Those Takfiri criminals and their masters will pay a high price for their crimes against our Syrian Arab people,” the statement concluded.
