Army restores security and stability to new areas in Aleppo countryside

Provinces – The Syrian Arab Army, backed by its Air Forces restored security and stability to new villages, inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in personnel and ranks and destroyed their weapons, SANA reported.

In the Northern province of Aleppo, the Syrian Army Air Force destroyed positions and vehicles for ISIS terrorist organization in the villages of al-Uwainiyeh, Um Mayal and al-Qulai’a in Aleppo countryside, a military source said.

Earlier in the day, units of the army and armed forces widened security around Aleppo- Hama road by restoring security and stability to new areas.

A field source said that Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, restored stability and security to the village of Tallat al-Hamam to the south of Khanaser town at southeastern side of Aleppo after eliminating the last gatherings of terrorists there..

The units also controlled the surrounding mountains around the village after inflicting heavy losses in personnel and ranks of ISIS terrorists.

Meanwhile, Army engineering units continued dismantling explosives and mines planted in the area.

Earlier Friday, Army units restored security and stability the villages of Ma’anaya, Shallala Sagheira and Telal al-Za’arour, secured the road from Aleppo to Khanaser, eliminated ISIS terrorists’ gatherings from the area after destroying their last gatherings and hideouts in the vicinity of the road.

Earlier Thursday, army units restored security and stability to Khanaser town after eliminating the last remaining gatherings of ISIS terrorists who infiltrated into the town last Tuesday.

Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Army Air Force targeted ISIS terrorist organizations in al-Jafra village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province during the last 24 hours, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and destroying vehicles equipped machineguns, a military source said on Monday.

Meanwhile, Army units hit gatherings and hotbeds for ISIS terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Hamediyeh, al-Hweiqa and al-Sina’a in Deir Ezzor city and destroyed all of them.
