Army restores safety and stability to al-Mseifraa town in Daraa countryside

Daraa – Army units on Monday restored safety and stability to al-Mseifraa town in Daraa countryside after eliminating terrorists in it.

SANA said that over the past few hours, the army units clashed with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist groups in the center of al-Mseifraa town, 25 km east of Daraa.

 The clashes ended up with eliminating many of the terrorists and pursuing the remaining others who fled towards the neighboring village of Kahil.

 SANA said that the army units combed and cleansed the village from what have been left behind by the terrorists to pave the way for the return of the locals.

 During the combing operation, an army unit discovered a field hospital for the terrorist organizations, including huge amounts of medicine, some of which are US made, and medical equipment that was used in treating the injured terrorists who could not be transferred to Jordan and the occupied territories for treatment.

 Syrian army cuts off terrorists’ supply routes in Daraa

Syrian Arab Army units operating in Daraa continued their military operation against terrorist organizations in the remaining areas in which they are positioned in the western and southeastern countryside of the province.

SANA said army units carried out intensive strikes agaisnt terrorists’ dens in the villages and towns of al-Naima, al-Jiza and Seida up to the Syrian-Jordanian border in the southeastern countryside of Daraa which served over the past years supply routes for terrorists.

Due to the strikes, the terrorists suffered heavy losses in their ranks and equipment after their supply routes were cut off.

SANA added that the army expanded its operation in the western countryside and launched raids on hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra and the so called “Khaled Ibn al-Walid Army” which is affiliated to Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization, killing scores of terrorists.

On the southern outskirts of Daraa al-Balad, the army’s artillery bombarded terrorists positioned in the area surrounding al-Jumrouk al-Qadim neighborhood (Old Customs) who targeted with heavy and moderate machineguns residential gatherings and military points.
