HAMA-Units of the Syrian Arab army, in cooperation with the allied forces, restored on Thursday full control over the towns and hills of al-Msheirfeh, Tamma, Maghara, al-Wared, al-Dajaj and Tal al-Maqtaa in Hama north-eastern countryside, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).
A military source told SANA that the army carried out special operations against remnants and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Hama north-eastern countryside that ended up with establishing control over the said towns, the killing of a number of the terrorists and the destruction of their weapons and military equipments.
According to the source, the army engineering units are carrying out an operation to dismantle the mines left by terrorists in the area.
Yesterday, the army and the supporting popular defense groups established full control over Um Hartin village in Damascus northeastern countryside after eliminating the terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliated groups having positions in the village.
