Army restores control over a number of villages in Aleppo’s eastern countryside

Provinces – Units of Army and Armed Forces continued their military operations against ISIS terrorist organization and restored control over a number of villages in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

A military source said that army units restored control over the villages of al-Salyhia, al-Batoshia, Jbab al-Masoudia, Khizraf, al-Faraia, Mostariha, al-Mazzah, al-Wasta, al-Sukaria Sharqia, Bandoka, al-Hamidia, Dour Ahmad Yasien, al-Qahira, al-Boman’a, Khan al-Sha’r, Khirbit al-Soda and al-Himrawi in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, according to SANA.

 

The source added that the operations resulted in the killing and injuring of more than 2000 terrorists in addition to the destruction of 115 vehicles, 7 tanks, 6 cars, 4 cannons, operations and communication room, 14 command sites, 5 booby trapped vehicles.

Among the killed terrorists were Abu Ayoub al-Shishani, Abu Yacoub al-Turkstani, Abu Qotada al-Auzbaki the prince of Dibs Afnan area, Mahmoud Ismael Kojak the prince of al-Mishrifa area, Ahmad al-Othman the Mufti of ISIS in Maskana area, Abdul-Rahman Miknas AKA “Aby Said al-Saudi”, the Iraqi terrorist Safwan al-Zeib, the Moroccan terrorist Abdul-Raouf Abu Hina, Abu Rihab al-Shishani and Abu Yousef al-Australi.

An army unit operating in Deir Ezzor killed 6 ISIS terrorists after targeting an ISIS terrorist group’s movement axes southwest of Talet (hill) al-Sanouf and destroyed a vehicle equipped with 57 mm canon for them.

A military source said that an army unit destroyed 4 ISIS fortified positions, killing and injuring a number of terrorists after targeting their gatherings and fortifications in the area of al-Ghar hills in the surrounding of Deir Ezzor city.
