Army repel terrorist attack on Palmyra military prison

PROVINCES,(ST)-A military source said on Tuesday that armed forces killed and injured members of an armed terrorist group that tried to attack Palmyra Military Prison in Homs countryside.

It added that the armed forces also clashed with terrorists in south-west Palmyra city, and killed and injured most of them.

Meanwhile, units of the armed forces shelled terrorist groupings in countryside of Homs and Daraa.

Yesterday, the armed forces cleansed Bab Amr area in Homs from terrorists.

The terrorist groups, who commit criminal acts against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, France, Britain, and the US.
