Army Recaptures Handarat Camp, Expands its Control Area Reaching al-Kindi Hospital

Provinces- Syrian Army units on Thursday managed to eliminate the armed groups which infiltrated into several points in Handarat refugee camp in Aleppo and expanded its control in the area reaching al-Kindi Hospital, according to a military source.

Handarat’s liberation is of high significance to the Syrian army as it facilitates the return of thousands of displaced Palestinian refugees to their homes there after over four years of war in Aleppo.

Moreover, army and Armed Forces units, backed by the Army Air Force, launched more military operations against the armed terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, eliminating a large number of their members and destroying their equipment, SANA reported.

 Homs

The Syrian Air Force destroyed tens of vehicles equipped with machine guns for ISIS terrorists as it targeted their positions and convoys in the surroundings of al-Shaer Oil field and Tuloul al-Sawaneh, about 60 km northwest of Palmyra city in the eastern countryside of Homs province, a military source told SANA Thursday.

Hama

Dozens of “Jaish al-Fatah” and ISIS terrorists were either killed of injured in sorties of the Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force against their gatherings in the northern and eastern countryside of Hama Province.

A military source said that Air Force of the Army carried out strikes on the terrorist organizations’ positions in the towns and villages of Tibet al-Imam, Moardas, al-Kabaria, Tal al-Zaatar, Skeik and Mourek and the surrounding of Attshan, al-Shaatha and al-Telasia villages in the northern countryside of the Province.

The source pointed out that dozens of the terrorists were killed or injured in the strikes, in addition to destroying tanks and armored vehicle laden with weapons and ammunition.

In the eastern countryside, the Air Force launched strikes on gatherings of ISIS vehicles to the east of al-Mofaggar al-Sharqi village in the countryside of al-Salamyieh city.

Earlier, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of tanks and armored vehicles belonging to the terrorist organizations in the surroundings of Atshan, Tibet al-Imam, Maardes, al-Kabbaryieh, Tal al-Zaater, al-Shaatha, al-Telisiyieh, Skeik, Mourek and Kawkab in the countryside of Hama province.

Daraa

Deir Ezzor

An army unit killed a number of ISIS terrorists who had infiltrated into the surroundings of Deir Ezzor Airport.

Damascus Countryside

Thirty ISIS terrorists were killed, more than 50 others got injured in army air strikes on their positions in Bir al-Afaie and al-Naqab in al-Dmeir area in Damascus Countryside.
