Army operations against al-Qaeda Terrorists Unabated

 

 

 

GOVERNORATES,(ST)_Leader of the so called ” descendants of the prophet”  group nicknamed al-Jinani   was killed and members of his group were exterminated during clashes with the armed forces  in Jibata al-Khashab and Trenjeh villages in Quneitra on Monday.

In Idleb, the armed forces, in a qualitative operation,  destroyed a car equipped with a heavy machine gun and killed or wounded the terrorists inside it in Harem city. Other wounded terrorists  were withdrawn into Turkish territory by Turkish ambulances.

In Maart  al-Nu’man the armed forces continued qualitative  operations to restore security to the region,  where the engineering units foiled bombing of four explosive devices weighing between  30-50 kilograms , planted by an armed terrorist group on Arieha- Orom al-Jouz highway.

In Lattakia, the competent authorities while breaking into al-Tabeyyat quarters  confiscated  a number of automatic military rifles , 40 bomb, some are  Israeli-made , smoke bombs and more than 2,000 machine gun bullets.

In Homs, the armed forces exterminated a number of terrorists , upon attacking their gatherings in al- Rastan  and destroyed their cars which were used in the transport of weapons and ammunition. Among the killed terrorists were Alaa Khalaf  ,Mahmoud Fayyad , Khalid Farzat , Iyad Saad Eddin , Mohammed Saad Eddin ,  Abdul Ilah Razzouk , Mohammed Khaled Jaddoul,  Alaa Abaz and  Mohammed Wardeh, according to an official source .

The source added to SANA that direct hits were inflected in  the ranks of terrorists who were terrorizing citizens in  Khalidiya and Jouret Shiyah areas  in Homs and al-Sultanieh village  in rural Homs.  Among the killed were leader of the terrorist group in the village  Mahmoud Idrees  and terrorists Abdullah Aljori, Abdul Illah al-Omar, Nizar al-Sheikh and Mahmoud al-Sheikh known as Abu al-Ghadban.

Meantime, the border guards foiled an  infiltration  attempt made by  terrorists from the Lebanese territories at Tell al-Farah site in Telkalakh, where two terrorists were killed  including Mohammad Abdul Aziz Hamid of the Egyptian nationality, while other terrorists fled back  into Lebanon.

In the meantime, the armed forces  clashed with al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist group in Ma’an  town, heading for Hama to carry out terrorist attacks and terrorize civilians in the city, an official source said, noting  that the clashes resulted in killing Alaa Abdul Qadir Sheikh Othman,  Ahmed Shahoud al-Dawoud,  and Yousef Mohammed al-Akhras al-Masri and confiscation of automatic rifles and 25 wireless detonation devices and 9 detonators , two remote control devices, and grenades.

In Deir ezz zour,  the armed forces attacked one terrorist group stealing and smuggling oil to Turkey by tanks in Abu Khashab area, and killed  or wounded several terrorists  including group leader Saddam Awwad known as al-Teer.

The armed forces also clashed with two  al-Qaeda affiliated  groups  in al-Jubeileh and al-Sheikh Yassin  quarters. Among the killed terrorists were  Ahmad al-Nahar, Hassan al-Daher, Saer al-Barbouri and Hammoud al-Heiji.
