Army kills scores of terrorists, destroys their positions

Provinces – The Army units, backed by the air force, on Tuesday continued chasing the terrorists across the country, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying their positions and weaponry, SANA reported.

Deir Ezzor

The Syrian army air force targeted the ISIS hideouts and movement axes in al- Mraieiyeh village, about 10km southeast of Deir Ezzor city.

A military source said that the army destroyed a number of the ISIS vehicles, killing and injuring a number of its members.

Homs/ Hama

The Syrian army air force destroyed ISIS vehicles, rocket launcher pads in Unq al-Hawa, Wadi al-Mesk and north of Akairbat roundabout in the countryside of Hama and Homs Provinces.

Daraa

An Army and Armed Forces unit killed all members of a terrorist group belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in Meqas al-Hajar area to the northeast of al-Yadouda town in Daraa province.

A military source said that army units targeted with precise fire Jabhat al-Nusra hideouts in the village of Jamrin 43 km east of Daraa city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and munitions.

The army also carried out operations against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daraa city, destroying a vehicle they were using and a fortified position southeast of al-Karak reservoir and a command centers and vehicles in al-Arbaeen neighborhood.

The source added that another army unit carried out accurate operations against Jabhat al-Nusra hotbeds which resulted in destroying a command center and a gathering of terrorists to the east of Busra Square in Daraa al-Mahatta area.

Sweida

An Army and Armed Forces unit targeted with precision fire fortified positions of ISIS terrorists in Rajm al-Dawla village in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province, a military source stated.

The source said that this resulted in leaving all members of the terrorist group dead or injured and destroyed all their weapons and munitions.

The source also said that an army unit clashed with a number of ISIS terrorists who attempted to attack a military position in Bard village in the province’s southwestern countryside, which resulted in killing and injuring most of the terrorists, while the remaining ones fled towards the Badiya desert.
