Army kills more terrorists in different areas

Provinces – Army units, backed by the army air force, on Sunday continued to launch wide-scale military operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the arms and personnel, SANA reported.

Homs

The Army Air Force on Sunday carried out several strikes on ISIS terrorists’ gatherings to the east of Palmyra city and north of Abu Kalla Dam in the countryside of Homs, killing many of the terrorists and destroying two armored vehicles, two machineguns-equipped cars and two cannons.

Sweida, Daraa

An army unit  foiled an infiltration attempt by Jabhat al-Nusra- linked terrorist group from the eastern countryside of Daraa southern province towards al-Tha’ala Airport in the western countryside of Sweida southern province.

An army unit monitored the movements of a terrorist group that moved from Um Walad Village in Daraa western countryside towards al-Tha’ala Airport.

The army unit carried out precise bombardments against the terrorist group, killing most of its members and destroying their arms and ammunition.

In the northeastern countryside of Daraa City, an army unit carried out precise bombardments against a terrorist group to the north of al-Gharyia Bridge, killing most of its members and destroying their fortifications.

In Daraa al-Balad area, an army unit carried out a number of bombardments, destroying fortifications and vehicles of the terrorist organizations and killing a number of their members in al-Bajabjeh alley, al-Sad Road neighborhood and al-Nazihin Camp.
