Army kills 4 ISIS leaders in Salamiyeh countryside, destroys their positions in Deir Ezzor

Provinces – An Army and Armed Forces unit, with support from the Syrian Air Force, killed a number of ISIS terrorists in Hama province.

SANA said an army unit killed 4 ISIS field leaders of foreign nationalities in intensive operations against one of their positions in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh.

SANA added that the Syrian Air Force carried out an airstrike targeting one of the ISIS positions on Abu Hanaya roundabout to the east of Salamiyeh city, destroying a heavy machinegun-equipped car and killing a number of terrorists, in addition to destroying a number of vehicles at Salba roundabout.

 

Deir Ezzor

Army and Armed Forces units clashed with ISIS terrorist groups on the southern and southwestern axes of Deir Ezzor city, eliminating a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.

SANA said that army units foiled ISIS attacks against the military positions in the surroundings of regiment 137 and al-Bghiliyeh village, killing and injuring most of their members.

Local sources said that ISIS executed 6 people, including a paralyzed person, in the villages of al-Taiyaneh and al-Jalaa in Deir Ezzor province.
