Army General Command Vows to Restore Security to Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ The General Command of the Army and  Armed Forces  stressed that in  an attempt to ease the pressure on them  and divert attention from their defeats in several areas in  the governorate of Aleppo, the terrorist groups on Friday committed a new crime  against our people in Aleppo, as they fired a missile from the district Kallaseh against the densely populated   al-Muhafaza area led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of innocent citizens and huge  damage to residential buildings.
In a statement on Friday, the General Command of the Armed Forces said that units of our armed forces have carried out several qualitative operations against terrorist groups targeting the rocket fire sites, explosive- manufacturing plants and   vehicles equipped with machine guns and inflicted heavy losses on them.

The statement added that as the General Command of the Armed Forces disclosed what had really happened and the criminal nature of these gangs and their role in the implementation of the destructive plan against the Syrian people, it vows to continue to pursue the remnants of terrorists and mercenaries and  to eliminate them until security and stability is restored to Syria.
