Damascus (ST) – The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces affirmed the readiness of the men of the Syrian Arab Army and their determination to continue carrying out their missions until the restoration of every pure inch defiled by terrorism, in cooperation with the friendly Russian forces operating in Syria,

The Command indicated that a series of targeting operations were carried out on terrorist sites and their movement axes, which led to the death and wounding of hundreds of them during the past hours and the destruction of their headquarters and warehouses in the countryside of Aleppo, Hama and Idlib.

A military source stated that: “During the past 24 hours, the targeting operations carried out by the Syrian Arab Army continued in cooperation with the friendly Russian forces operating in Syria through concentrated air, missile and artillery strikes on terrorist sites, warehouses, supply lines and movement axes in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib. The strikes resulted in the destruction of 5 command headquarters and 7 ammunition and various weapons depots, some of which contained drones.”

“The precise strikes launched by our armed forces in cooperation with the Russian forces led to the elimination of more than 400 terrorists, including various foreign nationalities, during the past hours”, The source added.

The source indicated that the armed forces began moving on several axes in the countryside of Aleppo, Hama and Idlib to encircle the terrorists and expel them from the areas they entered and secure those areas completely, and establish new concentration points to prepare for the next attack, with the continued arrival of more military reinforcements to the axes of engagement.

“The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces stresses that all the rumors about terrorist organizations controlling areas, towns and villages are false, and fall within the false propaganda launched by these organizations in an attempt to raise the morale of their members who began to flee from many sites and towns as a result of the painful strikes and losses they incurred”, The source continued:

The source concluded by confirming the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces “the readiness of the men of the Syrian Arab Army and their determination and insistence on continuing to carry out their missions at a high pace and with great enthusiasm until every pure inch that has been defiled by terrorism is restored.”
