Army foils terrorist attack on military post, kills terrorists in Daraa

 

Provinces – An Army unit on Sunday foiled an attack of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on a military post at the surrounding of Kherbet Ghazaleh town to the northeast of Daraa city, SANA reported.

An army unit clashed with a terrorist group infiltrated from the southwest of Kherbet Ghazaleh bridge towards a military post, killing or injuring all its members, a military source said.

Army units carried out military operations against gatherings of terrorist groups linked to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Daraa al-Balad and the surrounding of al-Ghariya al-Gharbia village in Daraa Province.

Moreover, an army unit killed many terrorists, injured others, and destroyed a den to the west of al-Nazihin Camp and on al-Sad (the Dam) road and at the surrounding of Katakeet building in Daraa al-Balad area.

The source pointed out that the army targeted fortifications of the terrorist groups to the northwest of al-Ghariya al-Gharbia bridge to the northeast of Daraa city, damaging a car, destroying a machinegun and killing all the terrorists inside.

Hama

The army’s air force destroyed a number of dens and vehicles for terrorist organizations and killed tens of them after targeting their gatherings in Hama northern countryside.

Earlier, an army unit thwarted an attack by terrorists on one of the military points in the northern countryside of Hama, destroying a large number of their vehicles and seizing an armored vehicle equipped with a minesweeper.

Aleppo

The army’s air force destroyed command centers, vehicles and killed tens of terrorists in airstrikes against their gatherings in al-Rashideen  4 and 5, Khan al-Assal, Mansoura and Kfar Halab in the west-southern sides of Aleppo.
