Army fixes its points in depth of Toloul al-Safa in Sweida, kills many of Daesh terrorists

Sweida/Hama – Army units advanced in the area of Toloul al-Safa, the last stronghold of Daesh terrorists in the eastern Badyia in Sweida Province.

SANA said that the army units in cooperation with supporting forces established control over the area of Qabr al-Sheikh Hussein after fierce clashes with the terrorists.

Many of the terrorists including snipers were killed by the army fires according to the source.

The army units discovered amounts of ammunition and weapons in the liberated areas.

 

Army foils terrorist infiltration attempts in Hama northern countryside

Army units operating in Hama foiled terrorist infiltration attempts towards the army’s advanced points in the northern countryside of Hama.

SANA said that the army units positioned in al-Masasnieh village on Saturday observed a terrorist group trying to infiltrate between Koroum al-Zaytoun and al-Jrouf al-Sakhrieh at al-Assi river banks from the eastern part of Latamina town, 35 km north of Hama city, killing and injuring many of the terrorists while the others fled towards Latamina town.

SANA said that an army unit positioned in Breidege village targeted with machineguns a terrorist group who tried to infiltrate from the western parts of al-Jaisat town with the aim of planting IEDs on the agriculture roads, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists’ ranks while the others fled.

SANA added that the army units combed the farmlands on the outskirts of al-Zakat town after monitoring terrorist groups infiltrating the farmland and conducting monitoring and reconnaissance.
