Army establishes control over areas in eastern Homs, destroys ISIS fortifications in Deir Ezzor

ProvincesThe Syrian Air Force on Wednesday carried out airstrikes on ISIS gatherings and movements near al-Iman oil station, the Panorama area, al-Qalaa barricades, Raqqa Bridge, al-Mejbal in the surroundings of Brigade 137, and in the surroundings of the fuel depots in Aiyash village in Deir Ezzor.

 The airstrikes left a number of ISIS terrorists dead and injured, and destroyed their fortifications and mortar and rocket launchers which the terrorists were using to target the residential neighborhoods and military posts, SANA reported.

Homs

Meanwhile, units of army established control on Tal al-Fara region to the east of al-Sawanah in Homs eastern countryside after eliminating a large number of ISIS terrorists and destroying their vehicles.

Earlier, army units, in cooperation with allies, continued advancing southeast of Tadmur (Palmyra) and re-establish control over Zenobia Resort in the southern countryside of Homs, killing a number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Sweida

Units of army foiled attack attempts by terrorist organizations on a number of military points in al-Qala’a, al-Zoluf dam and the French Makhfar in Sweida north-eastern countryside.
