Army establishes control over al-Rakhem hill in Aleppo, kills a number of terrorists in Homs

Provinces – Army units, backed by the army air force, on Monday continued to advance in different areas across the country, establishing control over a number of areas and inflicting heavy losses upon the Takfiri terrorist organizations in the arms and personnel, SANA reported.

Aleppo

A military source announced that control was established over Talet (hill) al-Rakhem to the west of the military academies in the western countryside of Aleppo after destroying the last fortification of Jaish al-Fateh terrorists.

 

The source said that army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces and the allies, over the past few hours carried out special operations in the western countryside of Aleppo, establishing control over Talet al-Rakhem to the west of the military academies.

The source added that a number of terrorists were killed in the operations, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham and Nour al-Din al-Zenki terrorist organizations and their arms and equipment were destroyed.

Homs

The Syrian army air force carried out concentrated strikes against a position of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the northwestern countryside of Homs province.

A military source said that more than 30 terrorists were either killed or injured after destroying their position in Aqrab village in al-Houla plain to the northwest of Homs city.

Later, the source said an army unit killed a number of the leaders of terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Za’farana village in the northern countryside of Homs.
