Provinces – A military source announced restoring peace and security to Kawkab town in the northern countryside of Hama central province after eliminating the terrorist groups which infiltrated into the town and perpetrated acts of sabotage and robbery, according to Syrian Arab News agency (SANA).
The source said that army units, in cooperation with the backing forces, restored peace and security to Kawkab town and expanded their military operations on different directions in the northern countryside.
The source added that a large number of Jabhat terrorists were killed in the operations, in addition to destroying one of their command centers, two stores of arms and ammunition, 4 tanks, 6 armored vehicles and more than 9 machinegun-equipped vehicles.
Daraa
Meanwhile, more 20 of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed in the continued military operations carried out by the army against the Takfiri terrorist organizations in Daraa southern province.
A military source said that army units carried out intensive operations against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and the terrorist groups affiliated to it on the road of Enkhil/Ethraya and to the east of al-Mleha al-Sharqyia, Ebta’a town and Daraa al-Balad area.
The source added that more than 20 terrorists were killed in the operations, in addition to destroying 3 of their command centers, a barricade, a machinegun, a SUV and a bulldozer belonging to the terrorist organizations.
Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Air Force carried out massive airstrikes against the ISIS terrorists’ positions and supplying routes in Deir Ezzor province in the past 24 hours.
The airstrikes targeted the surrounding area of the airport, al-Rushdiyeh neighborhood and al-Makabat area, killing many terrorists and injuring others in addition to destroying their fortifications.
Aleppo
Army and Armed Forces units restored security and stability to six villages in the eastern countryside of Aleppo after eliminating the last gatherings of ISIS terrorists there.
Army units, backed by supporting forces, continued to advance in the eastern countryside of Aleppo city and restored security and stability to the villages of Um al-Mari, Shreimeh, Jnat Salameh, Had Housh, al-Qseer, and Khraej Daham after fierce battles with ISIS terrorists which resulted in killing and injuring many of them while the remaining terrorists fled eastwards.
SANA added that engineering units combed the villages and dismantled the IDEs and mines planted by the terrorists, paving the way for the return the locals to their houses.
Army units also managed to secure the evacuation of over 5,000 civilians from the areas controlled by ISIS terrorists in the depth of the eastern countryside of Aleppo through a safe corridor to secure villages.
