Army eliminates terrorists, destroys their positions in several areas

Provinces – The Syrian Army, backed by the air force, on Sunday launched wide-scale operations against terrorists, eliminating scores of them and destroying their positions and weapons, SANA reported.

Hama

The Syrian army air force targeted the ISIS gatherings and fortified positions northeast al-Mufagar , Abu Hanaya, Abu Hbailat, al-Khirbeh, Talet Shama and Tabaret al-Hamra villages in Salamiyeh in the eastern countryside of Hama.

A military source said that the army destroyed ISIS vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, and positions.

Homs

The Syrian army air force destroyed ISIS positions and vehicles east of Palmyra and in Ark in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Daraa

An army unit killed most members of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group west of al-Jomrok al-Qadeem (old customs) in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa province.
