Army destroys fortifications and positions for ISIS in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor – Army units, supported by the Syrian Air Force, launched operations against ISIS gatherings and fortifications in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor city.

The airstrikes targeted ISIS positions in the area surrounding Deir Ezzor Airport, Seriet Jneid and the graveyards area, destroying a number of fortifications and a large number of weapons and ammunition, SANA reported.

 

SANA added that army units clashed with ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of the Airport and the graveyards area in parallel with the artillery strikes on their fortifications and movement axes, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
