Army Denies Issuing any Statement on the Fate of Workers Kidnapped by ISIS

Damascus, (ST)-The Syrian Arab Army hasn’t issued any statement on the fate of the cement workers captured by ISIS yesterday, military sources said on Friday.

On Thursday, ISIS terrorist organization kidnapped more than 300 workers and contractors from al-Badiyeh Cement Company- a closed joint-stock company located north east of Abu al-Shamat area in the eastern countryside of Damascus.

The workers are believed to have been taken to an unknown place, according to the state news agency SANA.

A Reuters report today morning claimed that ISIS terrorists have massacred 175 captured workers from a cement plant near Damascus, but minutes later the agency withdrew the report, according to Sky news.
