Army Daring Operations Continue Against Terrorists

GOVERNORATES, (ST) _ In a series of qualitative operations, the armed forces on Friday chased terrorists groups in Erbeen, Zamalka, Tel Kirdi, and Duma, Harasta, Hujeira, al-Hajar al-Aswad, al-Sbieneh and Daraya farms in rural Damascus and inflected heavy losses on their ranks.

Several leaders of terrorists groups were killed including Jawas Awatta,Mahmoud Faour, Fayez Bkheit, Ghaith al-Tunisi, Yazan Khankan and Nour al-Abbasi and terrorists Abdul Hamid Ghannoum, Husam Eid, Talal Ali Shehab, Maher Karim and Walid al-Sawtari .

Two pickup cars loaded with weapons were destroyed in Rima farms in Yabroud area of rural Damascus, and the terrorists manning them were killed or wounded.

In Aleppo and its surroundings,   the armed forces attacked terrorists shelters in several areas and the internal security forces clashed with terrorists in the old city of Aleppo and in Khan al-Asaal and left scores of them killed or wounded and their weapons destroyed.

Sheikh Abdul Latif al-Jumaili, preacher of Salah eddine mosque in al- Ashrafieh area was martyred when terrorist groups targeted the mosque with mortar shells from Bani Zeid area.

 

In rural Homs, scores of terrorists were killed or wounded in qualitative operations carried out by the armed forces against their shelters in Kafraya, Jobar, al-Sultaniah in rural Homs and inflicted heavy losses on them.

Among the killed terrorists were Fouad al-Masri, Firas al-Khaled, Hosam Khalas, Khaled al-Sihil, Mahmoud Raslan, Ali Beirini, Bilal Bakkar, Khaled al-Sayyed, Abdul Salam Zgheib, Muhammad Razzouk and Muhannad al-Louz.

 Several terrorists were killed and their seven motorcycles and three vehicles were destroyed near Palmyra, whereas several al-Nusra Front affiliated terrorists centers were destroyed in various areas in rural Homs, where four cars transporting terrorists, equipped with heavy machine guns, were destroyed, according to an official source.

In rural Lattakia, several terrorists were killed and others wounded while trying to navigate from Sagaro village to Khirbet Solas village, whereas a base for launching rockets was destroyed in Beit Awan village, the source added.

Three vehicles carrying gunmen and weapons, and ten motorcycles used by terrorists in attacking citizens were destroyed by the armed forces in Wadi al-Deif in rural Idleb. .
