Army Cuts zionist entity’s Supplies to Armed “Rebels” in Southern Syria

The Syrian army repelled armed” rebels”’ attacks on the Southern parts of the country and cut Israel’s supply route to terrorist groups fighting against the Syrian government, according to FNA.

The armed” rebels” operating in Southern Syria conducted a series of attacks on a number of villages of Jebel al-Sheikh district in Reef (outskirts of) Damascus killing tens of civilians and using a number of others as human shield. The army repelled the attacks.

Meantime, an informed Syrian military source told FNA that the army took control of several villages of Jebel al-Sheikh region, including Beit Jin and Jebata al-Khashb which were used by terrorists for receiving weaponry and food supplies from Israel due to their vicinity to the Golan Heights near the border with “Israel”.

“Since these two regions are located between the Golan Heights and Damascus, it was very important for the Zionist regime to help the armed rebels keep them,” the source said, speaking on the conditions of anonymity.

He noted that the advances of the Syrian army in Beit Jan and Beit Jan farms which were the most important bastion of armed rebels in the region were followed by the army’s advances in Jebata al-Khashb region.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and foreign-backed terrorists on the Syrian armed forces and people being reported across the country.

The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
