Army continues targeting terrorists across the country
Provinces – The army continued targeting terrorist organizations’ hotbeds and gatherings across the country, leaving scores of their members dead and injured and their weapons and ammunition destroyed in different provinces, SANA reported.
Aleppo
More areas under army control
The army units destroyed the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists’ hideouts and fortresses in the villages and towns of Rasm al-Abboud, al- Jaberiyeh, Hmaimiyeh and Abu Danneh in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province in addition to demolishing a number of their members with all weapons and ammunition inside hideouts.
The army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist ISIS organization in personnel and equipment near the Air Force Academy, east of Aleppo city.
Meanwhile, a number of terrorists, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, were killed and injured and their machineguns-equipped vehicles were destroyed in the army operations against their movement axes and gatherings in the village of Khalsah, south of Karasi village in the southern countryside of the province.
The terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media websites the killing of a number of their members, among them the so-called military leader In Jabhat al-Nusra Faisal Sharif, nicknamed Abu Omair al-Ansari.
In the city of Aleppo, army units destroyed terrorists’ hotbeds in al-Liramoun and al- Asharafiyeh neighborhoods.
Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over Tal Mamo and the two villages of Birawi and Azizit Samaan in the southern countryside of Aleppo province.
Hama
39 terrorists killed
An army unit killed more than 8 terrorists and injured 13 others from the so called “al-Jabha al-Shamiyeh” terrorist group in Maakraba village in Hama countryside and destroyed their vehicles and different launchers which they used in targeting the safe areas in Mahardeh countryside.
The terrorists’ leader “Mohammad Radwan al-Hasawi” were among the dead terrorists.
Army units carried out special operations on the terrorists’ supply routes and positions in Morek, Kafr Nabouda and Tal Skeik, killing a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.
An army unit destroyed a vehicle loaded with arms and ammunition and killed 5 terrorists who were on board the vehicle in the vicinity of Tal Uthman, 35 km northwest of Hama city.
Three more terrorists were killed and others were injured in army operation against terrorists’ movements in the village of Qalet al-Madeeq.
Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages that 16 of their members were killed in the northern countryside of Hama province.
Idleb
In the neighboring province of Hama, heavy losses were inflicted upon terrorists in personnel and equipment in army operations against their hideouts in Saraqeb city in the province.
Army units destroyed a headquarters for the so called “Jund al-Aqsa” terrorists in a special operation against their positions in Khan Sheikhoun , 70km south of Idleb city.
Homs
In the central province of Homs, the Syrian army air force destroys many vehicles and hideouts for ISIS terrorists in Arak and the vicinity of Maheen village in the eastern countryside of the province.
Deir Ezzor
The Syrian army air force destroyed terrorist organizations’ gatherings in al- Mara’iayeh and al-Jafra in the countryside of Aleppo and Deir Ezzor provinces.
Daraa
An army unit clashed with terrorist groups infiltrated to the surrounding of a number of military points in the eastern side al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Draaa city, leaving many terrorists dead and injured while the others fled.
Another army unit targeted one of the terrorists’ hideouts in Daraa al-Balad area and destroyed it with all the arms and ammunition inside.
Meanwhile, a number of terrorists, most of them from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, were killed and their munition was destroyed in army units’ special operations north of Atman town on the northern entrance of Daraa city.
