Army continues operations against Takfiri terrorists in different area, inflicts heavy losses upon them
Provinces – Army and Armed forces units, backed by the army air force, on Sunday continued to launch wide-scaled military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the arms and personnel, SANA reported.
Hama
The Syrian army air force destroyed gatherings and fortifications of terrorist organizations affiliated to the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” in a number of villages and towns in the northern countryside of Hama central province.
A military source said that the army air force carried out intensive sorties on gatherings and positions of the terrorist organizations in Mourek, Taibet al-Imam, Souran, Atshan and al-Latamina.
The source added that armored vehicles and positions of the terrorist organizations were destroyed in the sorties and a large number of terrorists were killed and injured.
Homs
Two of Jabhat al-Nusra commanders were killed and many vehicles and positions belonging to the Takfiri terrorist organizations were destroyed in airstrikes carried out by the Syrian army air force against their positions in Homs countryside.
The airstrikes targeted Jabhat al-Nusra positions in the area of Ez Eddin in the northern countryside, destroying 5 of the terrorists’ vehicles and killing two commanders of Jabhat al-Nusra who are terrorists Mohammad Mounir Dabbous and Rakan Abu Abdu al-Homs, SANA added.
Terrorists Waleed al-Issa, Ali al-Boqa’e and Ahmad Bo Homam were also killed in the airstrikes.
Meanwhile, the army’s air force destroyed fortifications and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Deir Foul and al-Farhanieh, 12 km to the north of Homs City.
The air force also carried out sorties against gatherings and positions of the ISIS terrorists in al-Talila Reserve and to the northeast of the silos in the countryside of Palmyra, destroying a number of vehicles and killing scores of terrorists.
