Army continue operations against terrorism

PROVINCES,(ST) _ Units of the armed forces on Friday continued their mop-up operations against terrorists killing and injuring scores of them ,and seizing their weapons and destroying their vehicles .

Units of the armed forces repelled terrorists who were attempting to attack citizens in Kafraiyeh and Kheirbet Solas villages, killing and injuring scores of them in Rabi’a village in the northern countryside of Lattakia, most of them were non-Syrians.

“the army also destroyed their weapons, including a mortar launcher, anti-tanks rockets and a rocket launch-pad, “a military source said.

Elsewhere, units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ attempt to detonate a number of explosive devices and stormed their dens and gatherings in several towns and villages in Idleb countryside.

“all members of armed terrorist groups in al-Hbaeit , Kfar Jales ,Abu Duhour and al-Boati villages were killed , in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Meanwhile, another army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to detonate 7 explosive devices weighing 30Kg for each, planted on Msabein road.

In Aleppo, units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ attempt to sneak into Justice Palace, killing and injuring many of them.

A military source told the official news agency that the army units targeted terrorists’ groupings in Arbed, al-Jadiyeda, Kweirs, the area surrounding the Central Prison, Mayer, Qastal al-Musht, al-Sakhur, Qadi Asskar, al-Zarzour, Zbdiyeh, Bani Zaid, Bustan al-Qaseir, Maret Arteq in Aleppo and its countryside, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Army units on Friday targeted groupings for terrorists in Bab Hood, al-Qosor, al-Hosn, al-Ghasbieh, Bait Hajjo in Homs city and its countryside, leaving scores dead and wounded.

According to a military source, the units destroyed a tunnel linking al-Qarabis and al-Ghasbieh with Homs city.

Terrorists ,who were trying to attack a military checkpoint near al-Qumairi village in Talkalakh countryside, received big blows at the hands of the army.
