Army conducts concentrated operations against terrorists’ positions in Hama and Idleb

Hama – Army units operating to the north of Hama retaliated to terrorists’ breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement in Idleb from several directions, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel and destroying their engineering fortifications.

SANA said that army units positioned on the outskirts of Atshan town, 45 km to the north of Hama City fired a barrage of missiles on positions and fortifications of terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in the surroundings of Skeik town in Idleb southern countryside.

Heavy and direct losses were inflicted upon terrorists in retaliation to their attempt to infiltrate towards safe areas and the army posts which protect them.

 

In the northern direction also, SANA said that an army unit foiled an infiltration attempt by a terrorist group affiliated to the so-called “al-Ezza Brigades” which moved from the direction of Ma’arkiba village towards army posts in the area to attack them.

To the east of al-Latamina, SANA indicated that an army unit conducted strikes with suitable weapons on positions of “al-Ezza Brigades” terrorists in al-Dawrat Valley, destroying their engineering fortifications in retaliation to their breach of the de-escalation zone agreement.
