Army Command Calls on Residents of Deir Hafer and Maskana in Aleppo to Return Home

DAMASCUS – The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces called the locals of Deir Hafer and Maskana areas and their surroundings in the eastern countryside of Aleppo to return to their homes after security and stability have been restored to them, according to SANA.

 “The General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces calls on the citizens of the area of Maskana and its surroundings and the area of Deir Hafer and its surroundings in the eastern countryside of Aleppo to return to their homes and farms after the expulsion of ISIS terrorist organization and the restoration of security and safety to those areas thanks to the efforts of the Syrian Arab Army,” the Command said in a statement on Sunday.

 Over the past period, the Syrian Arab Army, in cooperation with the allied forces, reestablished control over hundreds of villages, towns and farms located in the eastern countryside of Aleppo during military operations against gatherings and fortifications of ISIS, which resulted in the death of dozens of terrorists and the destruction of many vehicles, car bombs and vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
