Arms Shipment for Terrorists in Syria confiscated in Wadi Khaled

BEIRUT,(ST)- A shipment of arms including RPG shells and ammunition was confiscated on Saturday in Wadi Khaled area in North Lebanon  according al-Manar TV .

The  owner of the shipment, from al-Majdal village  in Wadi Khaled was arrested by the competent Lebanese authorities, the TV added.

  In a report Al-Manar television said that the flow of arms from Lebanon to the terrorists groups  in Syria continues in large quantities ,despite the measures carried out earlier  by the Lebanese army, adding that Israel was the only source to these weapons.

The report added  that shipments of Israeli weapons pass via the sea as a world passage, stockpiled either in the  port of Tripoli or in al-Araneb Island ,  and  then transported in small boats to the  Lebanese lands, to be smuggled to Syria through Deir al Ahmar town in the Northern Bekaa, a focal point between the northern Bekaa and North Lebanon through the mountains  of West Lebanon.

The report  went on  that the second passage is via the route to al-Nabi Othman village , where the smuggled weapons are protected by persons involved  with Hussein al-Hujeirai the kidnapper of the  Estonians, in addition  to Raas Baalbeck town crossing  in Tanyet al-Raas area and through al-Qaa projects  in Nimaat  region.
