Armenia calls for Russian peacekeepers to stay in Karabakh for the longest time
On March 28th, Secretary-General of the Security Council in Armenia Armen Grigorian called for Russian peacekeepers to remain in the NagornoKarabakh region.
“Our mission now is to try to make as much effort as possible for the peacekeepers to stay in Karabakh for a longer period,”Grigoryan said in a television interview aired by Russia Today.
Last November, Azerbaijan and Armenia reached, under the auspices of Russia, a ceasefire agreement that ended a conflict in the Karabakh region that lasted for about a month and a half.
