Armed groups target residential areas in Damascus and its countryside with 13 shells

Damascus Countryside – Armed groups targeted with 13 shells the residential areas of Bab Moussalla neighborhood in Damascus and Harasta suburb in Damascus Countryside, in a new violation for the de-escalation zones agreement in Eastern Ghouta.

The armed groups fired 11 mortar shells on Harasta residential suburb, damaging houses as well as the private and public properties, a source at the Damascus Countryside Police Command said in a statement to SANA.

Meanwhile, a source at Damascus Police Command said that two shells targeted the area of Bab Moussalla; one of them fell on the dome of the Abdullah bin Rawahah mosque, causing material damage, while the other shell fell on a residential building, causing material damage as well.
