Armed Forces:Turkish hasty reaction a genuine proof of Erdogan government’s intention to escalate tension at borders

DAMASCUS,(ST)-“a military  helicopter  was lost on Monday noon(Sep 16,2013) while on duty to monitor the terrorists’ infiltration into Syria through Turkish borders at Yunusiya district near Bdama village in Idlib countryside, “said a statement released by the Army and Armed Forces General Command.

“after the matter thoroughly examined, it  was  clear that the helicopter – by fault- crossed into the Turkish airspace for a short distance then returned to the Syrian territories promptly after being ordered  by the competent center .But upon returning, the Turkish jets shot it down directly to come down inside Syria, “added the statement.

“the Turkish side’s hasty reaction –as the helicopter was on the way back and was not on combat mission-is a genuine proof of the Erdogan government’s intention to escalate tension at the two country’s borders, “concluded the statement.
