Armed Forces Mark Martyrs’ Day, Vow to Hunt Down Terrorists Nationwide
DAMASCUS,(ST)_The Armed forces have marked Martyrs’ Day amid continuation of military operations against foreign-backed terrorist groups on all fronts to restore stability and security to the country.
Commanders of the army units and heads of military institutions said in speeches delivered on this occasion that Martyrs’ Day, which falls on April 6th, , summarizes the Arab history which is copious with honorable examples of martyrdom for the sake of defending land and dignity
Speakers also stressed that President Bashar Al-Assad had followed suit his father’s path in attaching great importance to martyrs’ families.
“People’s unity and support for the Syrian Arab army are the catalysts for Syria’s steadfastness and the army’s successive victories on the ground,” the speakers said.
They vowed to fulfill their national duty in tracking down the Takfiri terrorist groups and everyone who tries to harm Syria’s firm principles.
