Armed Forces Continue Great Progress Across Country

Provinces,(ST)-An official source told a local media that  units of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists and destroyed a machinegun-equipped car in the village of Mzayen al-Bakar in Jeb al-Jarrah area in Homs, while another army unit eliminated an armed terrorist group’s dens in the villages of al-Ghanto and Aqrab, killing a number of terrorists.

The source added that terrorists’ groupings in Talbiseh and in al-Khanek area in al-Rastan and Khnaifis village in Palmyra as well a car with all the terrorists inside were destroyed.

Another army unit crushed two pick-up cars equipped with heavy machineguns in an ambush in Abu Rabah area.

Meanwhile, an armed forces unit inflicted direct losses upon the armed terrorist groups near al-Walid complex in Jouret al-Shayyah and Bab Hud neighborhoods in Homs.

In Damascus countryside, the armed forces crushed terrorists and destroyed a car equipped with mortar in the town of Mlaita in al-Nabek.

The army units eliminated several terrorist groups affiliated to the so-called “Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham ” and destroyed their Grad rockets as well as cars loaded with weapons and munitions in Lattakia northern countryside.

In the eastern countryside of Hama, a unit of the armed forces seized weapons, ammunitions and communication devices and C4-made explosive devices during hunt down of armed terrorist groups.
