Armed Forces Continue Defeating More Terrorists

Provinces (ST)-The armed forces on Thursday achieved a great progress in confronting many terrorist groups in several provinces, killing and injuring a number of them and destroying their arms.

A unit of the armed forces killed numbers of terrorists, mostly from the so-called “The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) which is affiliated to al-Qaeda, in the mountains of Lattakia as well as in Idleb countryside.

In Aleppo, a unit of the armed forces clashed with terrorists who were trying to infiltrate into secure areas in Aleppo and its countryside, killing and injuring large number of them.

A military source told SANA that an army unit destroyed rocket launching pads and a mortar as well as many cars loaded with weapons, ammunitions and explosives.

An army unit foiled a terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Lebanon into Talkalkh, killing many terrorists and injuring others.

An official source told SANA that two terrorist groups tried to enter through al-Ghaydha site into the Syrian territories, where an army unit and border guards  clashed with them, killing six, while the other terrorists fled  to the Lebanese territories.

Meanwhile, the armed forces continue to defeat the terrorists, crushing their dens and weapons, and killing and injuring large numbers . Furthermore, they will continue eliminating terrorists  until restoring security and stability to all areas.
