Armed forces carry out series of successful operations

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces continue targeting foreign-backed terrorists in several sites across Syria and inflict heavy losses upon them.

The armed forces on Wednesday encircled al-Etaiba area inside east Ghota after carrying out a series of successful operations resulted in wiping out arms depots and terrorist groupings.

Many of terrorists from al-Nusra Front were reportedly eliminated and several hideouts were bombarded in countryside of Damascus, Homs, Lattakia, and Idleb, according to SANA.

In a separate incident, fighting broke out between two terrorist groups over sharing loots in Yabroud area in Damascus countryside ended in killing and injuring the groups’ members.

Syria is in a state of war and its army is doing its duty as regard defending homeland and citizens, and fighting terrorist groups to restore stability and security to the country.

The terrorist groups, who are exported from 40 countries, perpetrate heinous crimes against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are funded and supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and the US.
