Armed Forces Achieve Fresh Victories in Confronting Terrorists

PROVINCES, (ST)-Units of the armed forces on Saturday controlled the areas of Brigade 80, the FM station, the RODCO Company, aL-Manar gas station and Falaha factories in the countryside of Aleppo After destroying the last terrorists gatherings there.

A military source told a local media that the army units destroyed a large number of terrorists’ weapons and ammunitions and defused hundreds of explosive device, which were planted by terrorists to hinder the army advance.

In Deir Ezzor, units of the armed forces eliminated gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra amid carrying out military operations in the areas of al-Rushdiya and al-Hamidiya. 

The source pointed out that the  ringleader of the so-called terrorist group” al-Muhajrein Brigade” was killed during a clash with another terrorist group affiliated to the so-called “Islamic State in Iraq and Sham”  near Mhaimdiyeh village in Deir Ezzor countryside.

A unit of the armed forces destroyed a number of boats loaded with weapons and ammunitions destined to the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham movement” and confiscated 5 others in al-Rastan lake in Homs countryside.

The source reported that terrorists were attempting to transport weapons and ammunitions to support the armed terrorist groups in al-Rastan and al-Houla, who suffered heavy losses by the Syrian army.

In Idleb countryside, a unit of the armed forces confronted an armed terrorist group that tried to attack a military post in Jisr al-Shughour, leaving all members dead and wounded.

The army units also carried out military operations in the villages and towns of Idleb during which the terrorists’ weapons and ammunitions were destroyed.
