Argentine soccer legend, Maradona passed away

Buenos Aires, (ST) –  Argentine media announced on Wednesday the death of soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona, at the age of 60, after suffering a heart attack

According to Argentine newspaper, “Clarín”, Maradona suffered a heart attack while he was in Tigre town.”

Some pictures showed ambulances outside Maradona’s house to take him to a more specialized clinic, but the Argentine soccer legend was dead.

Maradona recently underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from his head.

Many have considered Maradona, the best player in football history .He participated in four World Cups, including Mexico in 1986, where he led Argentina to victory over West Germany in the final and won the Golden Ball award as the best player in the tournament.
