Archbishop Hanna: Prayers for security for Restoring Security to Syria

SOFIA,(ST)_  Archbishop of Sebastia Orthodox  Church Atallah Hanna yesterday  presided over a celebratory Mass in Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, in  Sofia,  during which hoped  the return of security and peace to Syria, which is experiencing  a global terrorist war.

In a speech, Bishop Hanna called for  prayers for Palestine and its people and for Syria, which are exposed to unprecedented terrorist attacks, as well as for fellow  kidnapped bishops and all the kidnapped  hostages and those who are suffering and grieving.

 

He also spoke about the suffering of the Palestinians in the land of Christ, appealing , “I hope that we celebrate  upcoming events  while  peoples of our region are  blessed with peace, justice and stability. “

The mass  was attended by Syria’s Ambassador in Bulgaria , the Palestinian Ambassador,  acting Lebanese Ambassador in Sofia, as well as a crowd of members of the Arab community ,Bulgarian personalities ,  worshipers and Bishop Tikhon, the  representative of the Patriarch of Bulgaria .
