Archbishop Atallah Hanna: Syrian presidential elections prove Syrian’s adherence to their homeland

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS,(ST)_ Archbishop Atallah Hanna of Sebastia for the Greek Orthodox Church has declared that holding the Syrian presidential elections on time is a message to the world that proves the Syrians’ adherence to their homeland.
 
He said in a statement issued today that the Syrian voters turnout in the presidential elections which were held yesterday proved their support for Syria which defends the Arab causes, mainly the Palestinian cause.  
 
The archbishop affirmed that those who conspired against Syria and sought to destroy it and to terrify its people are the same ones who conspired on Palestine and sought to plunder the occupied Jerusalem city and to eliminate the Palestinian cause.
 
He saluted the Syrian people, army and leadership who confronted the global conspiracy on Syria.
