Archbishop Atalla Hanna: What is going on in Gaza Strip is a crime of ethnic cleansing

Archbishop Atalla Hanna of Sebastia for the Greek Orthodox has stressed that the Israeli occupation targets all the Palestinians, both Moslems and Christians, and that the international community should act immediately as to stop the Israeli aggression on besieged Gaza Strip.

He pointed out that what is going on in Gaza Strip is a crime of ethnic cleansing that aims at displacing the Palestinian people and undermining their cause.

He urged all the churches as well as the religious and Christian references in the world to speak loud and bravely and call for an immediate stop of the Israeli massacres against the Palestinians people, stressing the need for adopting clear international stances, particularly in the West whose majority is biased towards this racist, fascist colonialism, on ending the injustice practiced on the Palestinians, particularly in Gaza.
