Araqchi said -during a press conference held at the Iranian embassy’s headquarters in Damascus today that there are two main topics on the  agenda, namely helping the displaced Lebanese and reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.

Araqchi said: “My visit to the region has one message, that is Iran has been and continues to be with the resistance in any situation.”

On the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran, Araghchi warned, “Our response to any Israeli strike will be proportional, and even stronger if necessary. We have demonstrated this in the past, and they can put our determination to test.”
