Aramo village in Lattakia is preparing to revive its heritage festival

Under the auspices of Lattakia Governorate, the Qandil Cultural Forum, in cooperation with the municipality of Aramo village in the coastal Syrian city of Lattakia, holds the 6th Aramo Heritage Festival over two days- August 13 and 14.

The festival, which has become an annual tradition celebrated by Aramo village and its neighboring villages, includes various cultural, heritage, sports and artistic events.

The director of the festival, heritage researcher, Haider Naisa explained that this festival comes within the project of the beautiful past, reviving Customs and traditions associated with the status of the Syrian villages, and enhancing the spirit of the community through these events and meetings that eliminate individual differences. Naisa pointed out that “heritage is a milestone as it represents our identity and ancient history, so we must do our best to preserve our heritage and cultural identity.
